Mindfulness is a hot topic in mental health media these days. In his group you will get an abundance of mindfulness techniques. Getting critical feedback and the opportunity to ask questions sets this group apart from the mindfulness apps and articles out there.

Learn how to get what you want in an assertive way by getting some concrete guidance on how to structure "the ask". The Interpersonal Effectiveness module is packed with tips to enhance communication that can be applied to home life, intimate relationships, friendships, and work matters.
In this DBT group, impulses and urges can be to social media, work, exercise, sex, clean, gamble, and more. They vary in intensity and can be situational. We will focus on the use of DBT techniques in response, without rehashing the personal details. All group members are therefore encouraged to also have individual counseling in addition to the group.
There are 4 modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness

Group members are required to participate in an initial assessment. At that time, the therapist will determine if the group is appropriate. Approximately 6 people per group maximum. All members sign a confidentiality agreement.... What is said in the group stays in the group.
